The photographs were later compiled in a collection he entitled 'Malkovich, Malkovich, Malkovich: Homage to Photographic Masters' which was displayed for a new photography exhibit.

The exhibit showcases Miller's exceptional photography skills matched with Malkovich's acting talent. While the photographer remakes the mood, lighting and composition of the old photos into perfection, the actor matched his emotions and expressions with that of the personalities in the original photographs.

According to reports, Malkovich was able to replicate the expressions of the artists so well that he was able to pull off 'almost identical' ones regardless of the age and gender of the original subject, all done without Photoshop.

The 'Conair' actor made rather awesome transformations into iconic stars and historical figures including legendary 'Psycho' director Alfred Hitchcock with his iconic photo holding a dead goose which wore a bowtie in his hand.

Malkovich also mimicked a noir-inspired photograph of a smoking Bette Davis which dates back to 1971. Another one of the photos shows the actor portraying Andy Warhol's iconic self portrait called the Fright Wig.

Miller also made a Malkovich rendition of Enest Heningway's portrait which almost looked identical to the original one with the actor wearing the same knitted turtleneck that the famous writer wore.

The collection also showcases the daring photos of former Beatles member John Lennon who posed naked with his wife Yoko Ono and Marilyn Monroe's 'Marilyn in Pink Roses'.

Other artists mimicked by Malkovich include that of Jack Nicholson as the Joker in the 1980s Batman film and Albert Einstein sticking his tongue out.

The 'Malkovich, Malkovich, Malkovich: Homage to Photographic Masters' exhibit is set to open in November in Chicago.
