Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) legend, veteran of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and now retired fighter Wanderlei Silva had words as violent as his punches to the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) regarding his lifetime ban.
"Those who are trying to take me down, come get it," he said. "War is just beginning, sons of b******s."

He followed up by saying that the NAC will see that they are the ones running this "s***."
Apart from the lifetime ban, which means that he will no longer be issued a license to fight in Las Vegas, he was also fined a sum of US$70,000.
The amount was 35 percent of the fight purse he stood to earn on his July fight with Chael Sonnen.
This whole debacle began when Silva ran away from the NAC people who showed up at his gym for a random drug test.
When the NAC arrived, Silva ran out the back door, entered his car, and drove away from the pursuing personnel.
Silva said that he only ran away because he was using diuretics to help heal an injured wrist. The diuretics are a banned substance as well.
UFC President Dana White said that this was a bad move and that if he were in Silva's shoes, he would rather have failed the test than run away.
Silva' attorney, Ross Goodman, was appealing NAC's decision, saying that they could not punish him. According to the rules, NAC can only punish fighters who are licensed in Nevada. Silva was not yet licensed in Nevada at the time.
The NAC though countered, saying that Silva had an upcoming fight, so it didn't matter.
However, before the NAC could talk about the punishment, Silva posted a video on Youtube and announced his retirement.
Fellow UFC veteran Brandon Vera had reached out to Silva on social media though, saying that OneFC - Asia's premiere MMA organization - will be happy to have him.
OneFC is poised to have its first card in China this year, with plans of even more around Asia.
