Game Developer Ubisoft announced during last year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, a new Tom Clancy video game titled "Tom Clancy's The Division." The game is now set for release in 2015.

Three Ubisoft studios are working on the upcoming game: Massive, Montreal and Red Storm.
The game puts players in the shoes of an agent under an elite organization called the "Strategic Homeland Division" or The Division.
The players are tasked to save and reclaim the cities of the United States after it collapsed following an epidemic.
Tom Clancy's The Division gives players the freedom to choose the objectives they prefer to accomplish. They will be given a full map of New York City where the game takes place.
Executive Producer Fredrik Rundqvist said, "It's an open world RPG game that takes place in New York City, that's been ravaged by a pandemic."
"The city has almost been lost to the chaos, to disaster, to lawless areas, with all these dangerous factions running around - and your job as an agent of the Division is to take that back."
The game was inspired by true events of Directive 51 and Operations Dark Winter, including Will Smith's 2007 post-apocalyptic movie "I am Legend".
Ubisoft initially planned to develop the game exclusively for the next generation game consoles. The company first requested the PC community to show interest in the game by signing petitions.
In August 2013, Ubisoft later announced it was developing the game to include the Windows' platform.
