The couple was photographed in public before. In those photos, Leung obviously looked like pregnant, with people saying she could be four months pregnant.
"Thank God for blessing and giving our family a new life as well as opening a new page of life. There is always tension and expect for first time. We still need more study and growth. Thanks for the care and love from all walks of life. Wishing our joy will bring happiness to you. Keep walking with love." Leung wrote on her Weibo.
Leung admitted in a function that she has been being pregnant for three and a half months. She plans to give birth in Hong Kong.
She said her husband would like to have a baby girl because a girl would be closer to her father generally, and the father would give a daughter everything.
Leung also said that they have been working so hard to have a baby in the past two years, experiencing frustration and disappointment. She got to know of her pregnancy three weeks after they were back from the trip to the U.S.
Leung talks and sings to the baby every day, and her husband talks to the baby as well.
