Korean Actor Lee Joon Gi Receives Many Chinese Movie Offers

Korean actor Lee Joon Gi has received many invitations from Chinese production companies to perform in movies and dramas during his shooting of The Joseon Gunman, Aju Business Daily reported on Friday.
Despite Lee's busy shooting schedule, he still manage to find time to read the scripts and evaluate carefully if he would take the offers.

Currently, The Joseon Gunman has received almost 400 million viewings on QQ video website. It is rare to reach the achievements for Korean historical drama, verifying the extremely high popularity of Lee.
"(We) received scripts of different types including action, love and comedy. After screening, the scripts under consideration are still more than five. Thank everyone for the attentions to Lee Joon Gi" said Lee's agency.
Lee has received so many invitations mainly because of his excellent performance and large fans scale. Chinese entertainment market attracts a lot of attention, so it will be a fast track for Lee to become an international star if he agrees to play in Chinese drama or movies.
On the other side, Lee plans to work on Asian fans meeting tour in the second half of this year after he is done shooting the drama, The Joseon Gunman .
