On September 12th, 2013, Jackie Chan signed a cooperation contract with the administrative committee of , announcing that "Jackie Chan Word" theme park will be settled in the Enterprise Cultural Zone in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area. The theme park will provide the public with cultural and eco-friendly experience. It is said that Jackie Chan will donate a number of collections to the park, including several ancient Hui style buildings he bought 20 years ago.
"Jackie Chan World" will cover an area of . It will be constructed as a cultural and creative industry park with international influence. Jackie Chan revealed during the signing ceremony that, there will be five theme avenues in the park where high technology and various cultural experience activities will be integrated. "We will hold various film and music press conferences in the park. I have already sent invitations to Wang Lihong and Zhou Huajian to give speeches on music and directors to talk about films. They all accepted my invitations," said Jackie Chan.
There will be various theme pavilions in the "Jackie Chan World". Jackie Chan plans to donate his ancient buildings in Anhui owned by him for 20 years. "I was very poor during my childhood. I wanted everything. After I earned money, I bought anything I want wherever I went. Now my collections cover an area of 10,000 square meters in Hong Kong. They are treasures to a lot of people. However, I feel stressful to hold all of them. Therefore, I decided to donate some of them, as sharing my happiness is much better than enjoying it myself."
It is learned that Jackie Chan's ten ancient Hui style architectures, such as halls, theatrical stages, pavilions, all represent the artistic essence of Chinese architecture culture. Early this year, Jackie Chen donated his several Hui style buildings to Singapore, which brought about plenty of comments in the society. Various parties came to Jackie Chan and persuaded him to keep the remaining Hui style collections in China. Jackie Chan decided to cooperate with the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area to construct the "Jackie Chan World" theme park in Yizhuang, Beijing. One of the pavilions in the theme park will exhibit the Hui style architectures. Jackie Chan indicated that, he would like to make use of his cultural collections and invite his global friends to gradually provide people with a "live" park full of inspirations, imaginations and various experience.
