The organizers have also invited Kuwait as guest country of honor, represented by Kuwait's Minister of Commerce and Industry Anas AL-Saleh.
During the opening ceremony attended by foreign leaders and Yu Zhengsheng, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Al-Saleh said his country has been keeping a close relationship with China, partnership that has developed in the past 40 years.
According to the Xinhua News Agency report, Kuwait and China has been trading for years and trade value between the two countries totaled $12.5 billion last year.
