And so, here's another use of Twitter. You can now add items to your Amazon Wish list by tweeting about the product you want.
Amazon announced Wednesday its new shopping hashtag "#AmazonWishList" will now allow users to automatically add products to their accounts via Twitter.

The link to the item or anything related to the product alongside with the hashtag lets the official Amazon account, 'MyAmazon,' automatically inform you about the item.
Information relayed to you include when will the item reflect on your list; if it's out of stock and where can you purchase it.
This isn't the first time Amazon has partnered with Twitter. They've already introduced the hashtag "#AmazonCart" that allows users to add whatever they want to buy in their shopping cart.
For those that want to use the latest feature of Amazon, he should link his Amazon and Twitter accounts in the account settings of Amazon.
The goal of Amazon in linking Twitter and Amazon accounts is to remind users they might want to buy products they've seen before.
Users usually just add items to their wish list but never get around to buying them,. They then eventually delete the items from their baskets. That's what Amazon wants to prevent.
Also, Amazon can easily track what gets the attention of users and eventually start advertising products related to products users added to their Amazon Wish List in the past.
Ultimately, the user will buy the product but won't feel he was forced to do so.
