Hong Kong actress Fala Chen is rumored to have gone to the US to escape her former husband, Daniel Sit, who was trying to rekindle their relationship recently.
According to an insider report, Chen has stayed in New York in order to take up an acting course in the past and has only returned to Hong Kong in order to film a project with Ronald Cheng. During the time the actress was filming, she is said to have lived at an apartment she previously owned with Sit.

Based on reports, while Chen lived at said apartment, her former husband, who is also the heir to Neway Entertainment Group, still took good care of her, sending a private chauffeur for the actress whenever she had schedules.
However, the actress allegedly rejected Sit's offers and also refused to take the heir back and reconcile. Sources say that the actress moved out of the apartment and chose to permanently live in the US in order to escape her former husband.
Furthermore, Chen is said to only return to Hong Kong whenever she had projects drafted for her.
Sources also say that the actress allegedly claimed that the biggest mistake she has done in her life was to marry Sit, adding that she had developed a more optimistic view in life after her emancipation from her former husband.
On the other hand, despite the rumors that involved Sit with former beauty queen Bernice Liu, the heir allegedly still misses Chen and hopes to get back together with her.
Despite their divorce in 2008, Sit is said to be sharing photos of the actress in his Facebook page and apparently, he still cannot forget the past memories he had with Chen.
Additionally, Sit has posted Chen's photo in the list of the nine people who have influenced his perspective in life.
