Cash Smartwatch has a totally different approach that sets it apart from the smartwatches we've come to know.
This particular device notifies you once you've exceeded your set budget for the day. The gadget will be priced qt US$139 and will be available next week.
This gadget was designed by Nicole Lapin, the youngest CNN and CNBC anchor to have her own show. Lapin, however, is no longer on your TV screens.
She's focused on being a "financialista" and is best known for making finances easier to understand. She always talks about budget tips.
The Cash Smartwatch is designed for women from 18 to 34 years-old. It's so different it doesn't want to get head-to-head against Samsung and Apple since it just wants you to focus on one thing: impulsive buying.
The watch lets you tap the price of the items you have to buy and classify these in different categories such as shoes, food, clothes, etc. But you only get to spend the "free money" you have remaining from your budget.
That way the smartwatch is a constant reminder that you have to buy what you need and not what you want.
There will be this green line in the categories you've set and the more you spend, it slowly turns into a red line.
Also, it has messages that pop out on the screen of the smartwatch whenever your finances are really getting low. Messages you will see range from "Take a damn bus" and "Hell yeah, who's a budgeting superstar?"
It's chic and fun at the same time and you won't have to worry about financial spreadsheets or credits and debits.
Another plus is how fashionable the smartwatch is. It comes in three designs you can choose from: a crocodile-style white, black silicone and a patterned silver.
