Premier League club, Liverpool F.C., one of the most successful clubs in England, is one of seven teams under UEFA Financial Fair Play Investigation.
The rules state that competing clubs in Europe must limit their losses to EU £35.4 million for over two seasons.
Apart from Liverpool, the six other clubs under investigation are: AS Monaco FC, AS Roma, Beşiktaş JK, FC Internazionale Milano, FC Krasnodar, and Sporting Clube de Portugal.

These teams previously disclosed a break-even deficit on their financial reporting periods between 2012 and 2012. Additional monitoring information on their finances must be submitted upon the deadlines set by the Club Financial Control Body (CFCB).
Liverpool made a loss of EU £49.8 million for the 2012-2013 season, with an additional EU £40.5 million for the 10-month period before that.
Regardless of the allegations and investigations, Liverpool is surprisingly comfortable with it. Their comfort is stemmed in their inherent belief and support in the system.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rogers said
Moreover, they are confident that they did not breac the FFP Regulations. Since their spending amounting to almost EU £90 million, Liverpool has reportedly signed a series of commercial deals within the past 18 months.
The money from these commercials can be potentially used to offset the EU £90 million losses. Also, it will be further reduced if the team can show that they invested in youth development, infrastructure, and community projects.
Last season, Manchester City and French Champions Paris Saint-Germain FC were each fined EU £49 million by UEFA for breaching the FFP.
Restrictions on transfer spending and a reduction in their squad size for the Champions League was also put on the teams.
