iOS 8 HealthKit-compatible Apps Start to Roll Out

After some delays of the much-awaited HealthKit platform due to a bug, HealthKit-enabled apps are now ready to deliver the best digital health service for the Apple fans.
The HealthKit is a software platform that collects data from various health, medical-related and fitness apps. These data can be viewed in iOS 8's HealthKit app and users can learn much about their selves according to the information.

One of the notable HealthKit-integrated apps is WebMD. WebMD is an American corporation which provides health information services.
Below are the other useful Health-compatible apps from the latest iOS 8:
Carrot Fit
It tracks the user's workouts and the food intake, and then offers rewards or light-hearted shaming based on the performance. Its version 3.1.1 costs US$2.99
FitPort
It features a dashboard that contains the user's health and fitness activities. It counts the steps, the distance of the taken walk or run, burned calories, and weight. Users can purchase it for just US$1.99.
MotionX 24/7
This app is using the iPhone's motion sensor and microphone to log whether the user is sleeping well. It can also track if the user is restless, and then uses the data to wake them at the appropriate point in your sleep cycle. Users can get this for US$0.99.
MyFitnessPal
The main attraction of this app is that it let the users to put in what they eat and track their eating habits. It version 5.6.6 allows the users to send their weight, exercise logs, and meal summaries using HealthKit. This is absolutely for free.
Yummly
This is mainly for recipes and grocery shopping. It can serve as a cook book with its huge recipe database. This app can also offer nutrition information about the food intake of the user. This app is also for free.
WebMD
The popular medical website that offers health-related content, symptom-checking tools and medicine database is now on HealthKit. Version 5.3.3 adds HealthKit to track user's overall health and fitness. This app costs US$1.99.
