Square Enix released the first gameplay trailer for Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition on Friday.
It lasted for three minutes and displayed the improvements United Front Games has made to the 2012 action game for the upcoming release on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The improvements include better visuals which run on 1080p, heavier traffic, and more pedestrians.

In August, it was announced that The Definitive Edition of Sleeping Dogs is to be developed by United Front Games.
It showcases new lighting and atmospheric effects, character updates, and car models as well. The game texture has improved extensively, says Square Enix.
Square Enix said that the combination of graphical improvements and characters resulted to a more beautiful and realistic game on its new gaming platforms compared to the two years ago versions on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
The new setting of the game is in Hong Kong. It "becomes more than a location; it becomes its own character," Square Enix says.
Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition will be out on October 10.
Additionally, the game will also include all of the expansion content (24 add-ons in all) released for the original game.
If the Definitive Edition will do well in sales, Square Enix might release a sequel and United Front Games love the idea.
