Pop icon Lady Gaga is now going after the woman who accused her of copying her song.
Reports said the "Poker Face" hitmaker has filed a counter-claim seeking to regain the legal costs she incurred in fighting the plagiarism suit filed by Chicago-based musician Rebecca Francescatti.

Based on the submitted court documents, Gaga wants Francescatti to foot her lawyer's bill, amounting to nearly US$1.4 million.
The 28-year-old singer said she spent nearly three years and a fortune defending her reputation.
It can be recalled that in 2011, Francescatti sued Gaga for plagiarism, claiming that the latter's single "Judas" was lifted from a piece of her 1999 song "Juda."
In June, the court dismissed the case and ruled that both songs were "not substantially similar."
The court explained that while it did acknowledge that the two songs had near-exact titles and similar musical notes, it was "not sufficient to give rise to a finding that the Gaga song has captured the total concept and feel of the Francescatti song."
It further noted that "Juda" and "Judas" did not "share enough unique features to give rise to a breach of the duty not to copy another's work."
The Grammy Award-winning singer is one of the richest women in the music industry.
Gaga ranked second in the 2013 Forbes' list of world's highest paid musicians, pulling in US$80 million over the past year.
Madonna was at the top spot with earnings of around US$125 million.
Meanwhile, the "Born This Way" star also comes second in last year's Forbes list of the 100 most powerful celebs in the world with only Oprah Winfrey more influential than her.
