The Saudi Arabian government called for immediate action for regarding the instability in Yemen, as it warned its southern neighbor of "unprecedented challenges" that could pose a threat to global security.
During the U.N. General Assembly in New York on Sunday, Saudi's Foreign Minister, Saud al-Faisal, said plans to end the conflict in Yemen is being hampered by the Houthi's lack of cooperation.

Saud said the absence of execution of the "security annexe of the agreement" and the absence of implementation of the deal to end the conflict has ended any hopes that the instability could be resolved.
According to the foreign minister, the dangerous and escalating condition that Yemen faced were unprecedented and required fast international action.
In addition, Saud said the conflict in Yemen can be a threat to the regional and international security and stability, and could be hard to contain regardless of the extent of efforts and resources exerted to end it.
On September 21, Saudi Arabia signed a deal in Sanaa to create a new government, which included some separatist groups in Yemen and Houthi rebels.
However, the world's largest oil exporter voiced its fears that the agreement could be advantageous to its main regional opponent, Iran.
Saudi Arabia sees the Houthis', who branched out from a Shi'ite Islam's Zaydi branch, as Iran's ally. But Iran has denied any association with the rebel group.
The kingdom also showed its concern that the accord with the rebel group could strengthen the Islamic extremist groups in the Middle East.
Under the stipulations of the agreement, the Houti rebels will be included in the new government, in exchange for leaving Sanaa, but to date, they still remain in the region.
According to analysts, it remains unclear whether the rebels' inclusion in the government will satisfy their demands, or further reinforce their actions in seeking more power.
