One of the iconic songs featured in the album collaboration between Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett is "Bang Bang", written by Sono Bono and originally performed by Cher. The live performance of the said song has been made available for the public to preview.

The said single is about a abusive relationship that ends with the woman being abused eventually gunning down her partner.

Other songs included in her "Cheek To Cheek" collaboration with Bennett are "Sophisticated Lady", "Lets Face The Music and Dance" and "Anything Goes" "Anything Goes" reached the number one spot on the iTunes Jazz charts.

"Cheek To Cheek" was released last September 23.

Lady Gaga admitted that her collaboration with Bennett has reinvigorated her, especially since dismal album sales and getting lost amidst newer artists made her lose her way and her sense of identity. The pop singer admitted that she had gotten lost to the point that she didn't even know who she was anymore.

She shared that she is very proud of their collaboration and, that she really sought to do something very different with Bennett, compared to other songs he had done with other artists in the past. The singer admitted that the crooner taught her a lot, but aside from learning from him, she became herself again by knowing him.

"With Tony I found that boxer, that fighter within me who was ready to take on the world," she stated.

Unlike other out-there songs and performances that masked the 28-year old singer's voice, her duets with Bennett showcased her vocal abilities. Her passion and her musical prowess were very much evident.

"It's wonderful," Bennett shared, "She has the gift - the gift of improvisation. And she just does it naturally. And it's something you can't go to school and learn how to do... She intuitively rephrases a song to make it even more believable than when it was originally written."
