Australia's biggest video game event, EB Expo, will start October 3.

The four-year old three-day video game event will be held at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park.

Organizers of EB Expo claim they have an impressive line-up of not yet released games to open the event.

"This year's expo is all about the next generation of gaming. We've never had a line-up this massive," said Debra McGrath, national brand, events and engagement manager of EB Expo.

The game expo will give gaming enthusiasts the chance to see some of the most awaited virtual titles yet to hit shelves; latest upcoming and new release games and various games playable for the first time in Australia before their release.

EB Expo will feature the following games: Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Assassin's Creed: Unity, Evolve, Far Cry 4, Sunset Overdrive, Super Smash Bros. (called the potential Wii U savior), Battlefield: Hardline, LittleBigPlanet 3, and Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

Those who attend the event will have the opportunity to try actual gameplay for Q4 2014 releases like 2NBA 2K15, Forza Horizon, WWE 2K15, The Crew, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, Alien: Isolation, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and The Evil Within.

Also at the expo will be Project Cars, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, and #DRIVECLUB, which will be released in 2015.

The event has Expo's Family Day that will be held on the last day (October 5). Attendees with their families can enjoy the forthcoming Just Dance 2015, SingStar: Ultimate Party, Disney Infinity 2.0. and LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.

Of course, there will be freebies for the attendees.

Ticket holders that spend more time playing Skylanders will get a free and exclusive Gearshift Trap Master Character, which will be released in 2015.

Activities like free Robot Wars shows, the retrospective Freeplay City, and cosplay competitions are all included.
