What a nightmare!

It seems that the husband-and-wife owners of "Amy's Baking Company" are far more insane in real life than they were when they appeared in Gordon Ramsay's reality show, "Kitchen Nightmares".

Restaurateur Samy Bouzaglo chased a customer out of his restaurant and threatened to kill him while waving around a knife. The said incident occured last Saturday afternoon.

The customer was allegedly upset over the food and the service he received from the restaurant, which in turn upset Amy Bouzaglo, the wife and namesake of the restaurant. Amy then demanded that the patron leave the restaurant, to which the said customer obliged without any hesitation or fuss. 

Despite the fact that the customer was ready to leave without causing a scene, Samy allegedly rushed toward him with a knife and threatened to kill him. While his wife and the man filming the scene tried to calm him down and hold him back, Samy continued to attempt to run after the man who was fleeing the area, rhey told him that he could go to jail indefinitely if he killed the patron.

After Amy managed to calm her husband down, Samy entered the restaurant. Oddly enough, Amy started throwing her own tantrum and yelled at the customer for being a coward, after which, Samy went out of the restaurant to pull in his irate wife.

Despite the incident being filmed, the couple remained adamant that Samy did not wield a knife.

According to Amy, "We've been bullied and harassed and victimized," she said. "We're just trying to continue on with our lives and work and have a decent living."

Their restaurant was first featured on "Kitchen Nightmares" in March 2013. Upon airing of the episode, the couple was criticized for how they treated both their staff and customers. For the first time in the history of the show, Chef Gordon Ramsay ended the episode by concluding that he couldn't help the couple with their restaurant.
