2410 Prostitution Sites Closed Nationwide

After the exposure of prostitution in Guangdong entertainment places, Ministry of Public Security carries out a special project to crack down on prostitution, gambling and drug crimes nationwide.
Since 2/9, Ministry of Public Security has dealt with over 1300 prostitution cases, has cracked down 73 prostitution criminal gangs, and has arrested 501 suspects, and closed 2401 prostitution sites. The related investigation is still on progress.

Zhejiang police detected 32 prostitution crimes and detained 56 prostitution organizers and operators as well as Jiangsu public security department detected 20 prostitution crimes and detained 23 people according to law.
Sichuan public security department detected Luzohu's "New Emperor Spa" prostitution crime and Nanchong's "Shengyu Regimen Club" prostitution crime, and detained 7 people including legal representative Lai and organizer Zhang according to law.
Wuhan's and Huangshi's public security department cracked down the Wuhan "Times Club" which organized and introduced prostitution, "Jinsen Club" of Nice Hotel, "Ligong Spa and Club" of Yellow Stone Tian Ze Hotel, and detained 13 organizers and operators including Yan, Yu and Li according to law.
Jiangxing's public security department detected 8 prostitution crimes and detained 14 people including Duan, Chen, and Zhang who organized prostitution in salons, bath centers, and foot massage centers.
After the exposure of prostitution in Guangdong entertainment places, local police launches a special operation to crack down on prostitution. Zhongtang town also provides a financial guarantee setting up a 1 million special fund on cracking down on prostitution.
The Zhongtang town has closed 47 entertainment places such as sauna centers, foot massage centers, ballrooms in total and has arrested related 42 people.
This town is working hard on long-term order of the entertainment places. The sauna centers, foot massage centers, salons, rental houses in the town have been investigated. The police have been focused on investigating the companies that exceeded their business scope. The companies without business licenses were requested to close.
