Zhou said, the live broadcast of Xi Lai Bo case on Sina Weibo fully showed the process of judicial office is just, open and transparent.
Zhou also indicated that since 2013, each level court nationwide has been deepening judicial open as a beneficial measure to ensure judicial justice, and fully advance the establishment of openness of the process, judgment statements as well as conduction information. He points out that through this openness and acceptance of the supervision by the whole society, judicial openness will be truly achieved ultimately.
Zhou explains with more details. First, judge must judge cases justly and fairly and pass the judgment to the society. It is not enough for the judge to say the case is judged fairly or not; it is important for the whole society to comment on it. The judge put his product onto the internet, and then people online supervise his/her work. This is a huge supervision. If the judgment statement has mistakes, the courts are not afraid of making mistakes and letting people know. It is important to have someone to point that out.
Zhou also states that the Supreme Court prepares to collect all the judgment information since the country was established, creating a Chinese judgment information database.
