On her blog, which was posted in the wee hours of the morning, she wrote, "I was excited about our upcoming fan events only to shockingly be informed by my company and 8 others that as of today, I'm no longer a member."
In her post, Jessica stated that she was devastated about the news, adding that her priority was to do her job as a member of Girls Generation. In her post, she wrote, "For no justifiable reason, I am being forced out."
After posting the original blog, Jessica wrote another comment, saying, "You guys are very special people that I love dearly, therefore you deserve to hear the truth from me," addressing her fans.
In that same comment, the singer expressed that she is sad about being hurt by the people she trusted, adding that she hopes that no one else would have to go through such pain.
However, on previous news, the legitimacy of the post has been questioned after SM Entertainment, Girls' Generation's talent outfit, announced that all nine members of the group, including Jessica, have extended their contract with the company.
On further reports, SM Entertainment has already released a statement regarding the issue. The company has confirmed that Jessica is indeed leaving the group.
In the official statement that the company released, it is said that Jessica will be leaving the group as there was a conflict with her interest between her fashion brand, BLANC, and her supposed scheduled activities with the group.
According to SM Entertainment, Jessica's participation in the group has decreased and because of that, she will be quitting the group.
Despite that, SM Entertainment urged their fans to continue supporting Girls' Generation as an eight-member group and also Jessica for her solo activities.
