Ministry of Foreign Affairs: DaLai’s “Middle Way” approach actually calls for Tibet’s independence
Qi Qin | | Feb 22, 2014 02:28 PM EST |
Representative of Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gang Qin, states that Dailai Lama has not yet stopped anti-China separatist activities. His "Middle Way" approach actually calls for the independence of Tibet.
Qin also states that Dailai ideally establishes a "Big Tibet Area", covering a quarter of territory of China and never existing in the history. The truths have already proved that Dalai is absolutely not a pure religionist but a political refugee who has been working on anti-China separatist activities for a long time with the flag of religion.

Dalai claims that he is not pursuing the independence of Tibet, but he never stopped his anti-China separatist activities. Chinese government and Chinese people would not approve his "Middle Way" approach and the independence of Tibet. The door of communication between Chinese government and Dalai is always open. If Dalai really hopes to obtain progress on the discussion with Chinese government, he should thoroughly think about his actions and speeches and stop any separatist activities right away.
Qin points out that Chinese people are best qualified to speak on the situation of Chinese Tibet. Since 60 years of peaceful liberty, Tibet has been changed earthshakingly. The serf already becomes owners. Tibet's development of economic and society has obtained tremendous achievement, which is a basic truth that anyone without political bias would not deny.
Qin emphasizes that Tibet is an unbreakable part of Chinese territory. Tibet's affairs are part of Chinese internal affairs. The U.S. allows the visit of Dalai Lama and meets with him despite China warnings, which has already severely interfered Chinese internal affairs, seriously break its acknowledgement to China that "Tibet is a part of China" and its commitment of against the independence of Tibet. The U.S. has already severely break the international relationship rules as well as seriously damage China-U.S. relationship. China urges the U.S. leaders once again to correct the mistakes, stop supporting the anti-China separatists and stop interfering Chinese internal affairs in order not to further damage the relationship between China and the U.S.
