"Gone Girl" David Fincher wanted his movie to be as raw and as ugly as it could be.
The movie's lead, actor-director Ben Affleck, shared that Fincher wanted the movie to be much like how European movies are - "where they just don't give a s--t about any of that stuff and they just play real people". And much like European movies, "Gone Girl" does show some nudity and, no matter how brief, Jennifer Garner's hubby goes full frontal and shows off his penis.

"There is some brief, very brief nudity, I think," Affleck shared with MTV News' Josh Horowitz, to which the reporter added, "We're selling this on the penis!"
Affleck sat beside his co-star Rosamund Pike as he joked with Horowitz during the interview.
The Academy Award winner confirmed that his privates will definitely be making an appearance in the movie. He jokingly urged moviegoers to watch the new flick in 3-D because his private area looks much better in 3-D. "It costs extra. It's IMAX penis! You've gotta pay fifteen bucks to see it in 3-D...It was a very cold set. It was freezing. It was subzero," the 42-year old actor-director quipped, laughing.
"Gone Girl" is based on the novel by Gillian Flynn and revolves around the marriage of Nick and Amy Dunne's marriage, which turns into a mystery of sorts as Amy disappears and the audience is left wondering whether or not Nick killed her. However, the book takes on a darker twist as it progresses, revealing that sometimes things aren't exactly what they appear.
Fincher stated that although the movie has taken a lot of elements from the novel, some parts will be deviating from the literature.
Aside from Affleck and Pike, the movie also stars Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry and Carrey Coon.
The thriller is set to open in theaters on October 3.
