After news broke out that Taiwanese singer Anthony Neely admitted to being married for four years with a three-year old daughter, insider reports say that he was forced to reveal his secrets by his wife and his in-laws.

 The 28-year old singer is said to have been forced to publicly open up about his marital status and the existence of his three-year old daughter with a Taiwanese nurse named Vivi.

According to insider reports, Vivi allegedly wanted Neely to unveil the truth about her and their child because she cannot tolerate having the singer keep his distance from her and their child whenever he is in public.

Additionally, Vivi purportedly does not want to leave their child under her family's care whenever he is working which led to her forcing the singer to reveal the truth.

On previous reports, Neely uploaded a three-minute video of himself which contained his confession that he has a wife for four years now and a daughter, who just turned three recently. Said video also included photos of himself with his daughter.

Furthermore, after he uploaded the video, he received both criticism and praise with some saying that it is Neely's fault for not confessing about his marriage while other praised him for being brave.

As opposed to the claims being made that he was forced to confess, the singer, who rose to fame in 2009 through a singing contest called One Million Star, claimed in his video that he is finally confessing the truth as a present to his daughter.

The singer's mother stated that she is happy for her son, saying "He finally made it through the four-year turmoil."

Others have speculated that his confession was a kind of publicity stunt, but people who knew the singer stated that he is a conservative man and would not reveal such personal matters only to promote himself.

The singer's manager also stated that Neely revealed the matter solely for his daughter who is growing up, claiming that it will be unhealthy for the child if Neely keeps up with hiding the marriage.
