Jiangsu Satellite TV has confirmed its invitation to Kim, saying he will appear in one of the last three episodes of the show. TV executives said Kim will be recording for about five hours for the episode he will be guesting in.
The announcement of Kim's special guest appearance on "Super Brain", his first in a Chinese TV hit show, immediately became a trending topic on the Internet.
"The professor who came from the star is going to land in China. We are expecting to meet him so much," wrote Kim's Chinese fans.
"Kim Soo Hyun's agency, KEYEAST Entertainment, places great emphasis on the invitation. The company asked for the introduction and rules of our show. They also watched the previous show of 'Super Brain'," said Mr. Liu, director of promotions at Jiangsu Satellite TV.
Liu added: "KEYEAST Entertainment has received numerous invitations from more than 20 Chinese satellite TV stations for Kim Soo Hyun's appearance on various shows and commercials. However, after considering all lucrative conditions, KEYEAST Entertainment believes 'Super Brain' will be the best show for Kim Soo Hyun to demonstrate his unique glamour in front of millions of Chinese fans."
This March, "Super Brain" will switch into PK battle mode. Twelve Chinese "super brainers" will challenge other "super brainers" from Spain, Germany and Italy. Kim Soo Hyun is expected to provide more power and energy to the Asian team when it meets up with their fellow "super brainers" from abroad.
