Game developer EA Maxis announced three major free updates for The Sims 4 on Wednesday.
The October update for the popular life simulation game is available to download right now.
It includes ghosts, meaning that if the user's Sim dies, it can reunite with the world. The ghost SIM keeps all of the attributes it gained while it was still alive. Special behaviors based on how it died are also included.

The October update has Star Wars included, as well.
Costume sets of popular Star wars characters are present in the game. It allows Sim to try Luke Skywalker's X-wing pilot suit or Princess Leia's white robes. Sim can even wear costumes of Darth Vader or Yoda.
It also brings new eye colors for the Sims and fixes "a few minor bugs."
Moreover, The Sims 4 November update will introduce pools to the game. The pools didn't make the cut for The Sims 4 because EA Maxis focused on enhancing the game's tech.
The company also stated its plan for the December update. This update will feature new career paths and rewards for the Sims.
Further details about updates and new features and expansion packs haven't been provided.
"We've said from the beginning that The Sims 4 is all about endless play possibilities, and we hope each of these updates add fun new dimensions to your experience," said Rachel Franklin, The Sims executive producer.
