The real reason behind the blackmailing scheme that South Korean girl group GLAM member Kim Da Hee and model Lee Ji Yeon orchestrated against actor Lee Byung Hun finally came to light as investigations develop.
Earlier, it was reported that the two female artists were said to have threatened the 'G.I. Joe' actor that they will be releasing a video clip of him drinking and engaging into 'sexual conversation' if he does not pay them 5 billion Korean won.

However, investigations now reveal that Kim and Lee have initially planned to get money and a house from Byung Hun, however, when the actor refused, they've both resorted to blackmailing the actor.
According to media reports, Lee allegedly requested for Byung Hun to purchase a new home for her, however, the actor did not want to and told the model that they should stop seeing each other.
Both Kim and Lee believed that Byung Hun harbored genuine feelings towards the latter and they thought that it was appropriate for the model to ask for a home from the actor in exchange for having a relationship with him.
After the actor refused to buy Lee a house, she along with Kim allegedly made another plan to make Byung Hun interact physically with the model and secretly record a video which they would use in the future to threaten him.
Things did not seem to have gone according to their plan as Byung Hun did not interact with Lee. When their plan did not go as planned, Kim is said to have gone inside the model's home where they were planning to execute their plan and began threatening the actor.
Kim allegedly told Byung Hun that her family and Lee's were not living well and that they had debts to pay. She then told the actor that they will be releasing videos of him that would ruin his image if he does not pay up.
Furthermore, the two females brought bags and demanded for the actor to fill it with the amount of money they were demanding for. Upon hearing the threats, Byung Hun sought the help of authorities which resulted to the arrest of Kim and Lee last September 1.
According to police reports in Seoul, Lee and Kim are currently charged with several counts of violence, joint-threatening and others which were not specified yet.
