After the well-received debut of the TVB drama 'Line Walker', its lead characters played by Charmaine Sheh and Raymond Lam are being named as plausible candidates for TV King and Queen.
Sheh and Lam have collaborated over the years in different productions, however, 'Line Walker' seems to be the drama where they have performed as a pair that has received critical acclaim.

According to media reports, netizens have praised the series for the superb acting of the actors and actresses that portrayed each other characters. Speculations say that Lam could be a possible candidate for this year's TV King title after giving an exceptional performance in the drama.
Lam expressed his gratitude to the public for their support, adding that he was pleased to hear that his performance had been well-received.
He also added that he has confidence that he will be making it to the top five of the list of this year's candidate which is said to include 'Black Heart, White Soul' star Roger Kwok.
"I hope this year the winners will be determined by popular audience vote so I'll have a higher chance to win," says Lam, who also shared that because of the success of 'Line Walker', he was offered many drama roles by production companies.
On the other hand, Sheh did not want to comment regarding being nominated as TV Queen since the list is not even out yet. The actress stated that since 'Line Walker' is her first drama comeback, she is satisfied that it got positive response.
She also shared that she does not want to watch the scenes she'd shot in the movie, saying that she felt rather heavy when she was filming them. The actress, however, added that she is satisfied that the public was able to identify with the drama.
On a side note, Lam was asked whether he thinks his acting prowess is still below that of Sheh as the public has also criticized him for being 'wooden' when it comes to his emotional scenes.
As a response, Lam said, "I think girls are more emotional, so their display of emotions should be more significant. If he does the same, it would look odd," adding that the character he plays is supposed to be introverted.
