During the opening ceremony, Lin Chi Ling entreated director Chen Kaige's work of Chinese calligraphy. Chen Kaige promised Lin Chi Ling readily. Recently, media exposed Chen Kaige's calligraphy to Lin Chi Ling. Soon the work of calligraphy goes viral on the Internet among Chinese netizen. Plenty of netizens think director Chen's work looks quite good.
Chen Kaige's new film is about a Taoist monk and his encounters with various bizarre characters. In the movie, Lin Chi Ling will teach Wang Baoqiang, a little Taoist monk what love is and how to love.
Moreover, Lin Chi Ling will also have affairs with the other two male characters Fan Wei and Vanness Wu. Because the day of the opening ceremony is exactly the first day of spring on Chinese lunar calendar, Lin Chi Ling wanted to better her fortunes, so she asked director Chen for a calligraphy work.
Chen Kaige wrote generously for Lin Chi Ling: "The apricot tree makes its presence felt by extending a bough of blossoming flowers over the top of the wall, unbeknownst to those who live behind the wall."
These are two sentences from a famous Tang poetry. Some netizens commented: "Director Chen's calligraphy skill is good enough for him to hold a calligraphy exhibition. We're all looking forward for director Chen's upcoming calligraphy show."
