Following her violent fight with fellow cast member Kenya Moore, the rumor mill churned out speculation after speculation that the reason Porsha Williams was demoted to part-time cast member was because she was simply too difficult and dramatic to handle.

However, an insider shared with Hollywood Life that the real reason new housewife Claudia Jordan was brought in to replace Williams as a regular was the complete opposite of drama.

"There just wasn't enough storyline with her. Not enough access, not enough storyline," the source shared.

The source stated that Jordan and part-time cast member Demetria McKinney are just simply more interesting to watch than Williams.

Regarding Williams' feud with Moore, the source shared that it really isn't anything new and, while the two aren't exactly the best of friends, they've simply learned to co-exist. Their relationship just isn't the focus of the new season of the reality series, but the two are said to be "trying to work things out".

Although Williams won't be a regular on the show, she will still very much present this coming season.

Williams is said to be extremely upset that her role was trimmed down to part-time, but she is reportedly trying to save face by pretending that she is still grateful for the opportunity Bravo gave her.

Williams was noted as saying, ""This is not an easy time for me right now, but I want to let everyone know that I loved being a Housewife on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and I am thankful [to] Bravo for the opportunity. But it's not goodbye; you will see me on the show throughout the season, sharing and bonding with the other women, and I promise to stay connected with my fans as I start an exciting new time in my life."

An insider close to Williams revealed, "She's not to speak of it, but yes, she's mad. She didn't want to go out this way." 

So if Williams is so upset, why is she then still sticking around? 

The source shared that Williams still wants to be in the spotlight and, would miss not being in from the cameras.
