Zoe Saldana and husband Marco Perego are expecting twins! The actress confirmed the big news on October 1. The twins will be her first children.

At the Hollywood Costume Exhibit at Los Angeles' Wilshire May Company Building, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" actress was asked what costume she would wear for Halloween. Saldana, while rubbing her baby bump, said, "I might need three costumes. I might have to make some adjustments, but it would be nice."

Although Saldana said she might get three costumes, the 36-year-old actress did joke about saying she would probably be a bride for Halloween.

"It would be a shotgun wedding," she said laughing.

News about Saldana carrying two instead of one came from her friend, pop princess Britney Spears.

Britney let it slip that Saldana was pregnant with twins when she was talking with Entertainment Tonight.

When the "... Baby One More Time" singer was asked if she and Saldana would eventually star in a film together again, she said, "Who knows? That's a very good idea. But she's pregnant with twins right now. So I'm sure she's got a huge future ahead of her."

Saldana and Perego got married in a hush hush ceremony just outside of London in June 2013. The actress and the Italian artist plan to raise their children to be bilingual to teach them the importance of their culture and worldliness.

"Of course [our children] will speak the languages that we speak," Saldana said.

Saldana further explains why she thinks it would be best for her children to be bilingual.

"My sisters and I grew up learning French and speaking English and Spanish, and because of that, we're able to understand Italian and Portuguese. But I'm going to have to make a conscious effort to speak Spanish to my children, because I speak Spanglish."

Saldana has always been vocal about wanting a family. She said
