Fresh from his first-round knockout victory against Dustin "The Diamon" Poirier at the UFC 178 card, President Dana White is hinting that Conor McGregor is already next in line to fight Jose Aldo for the featherweight title.

White said that if you go down the list of top 10 contenders in the featherweight division, Aldo has already defeated most if not all.

He defeated Cub Swanson back in the now-defunct WEC with a knee that dropped him within the opening seconds of the match.

He went to heavy waters with Frankie Edgar and survived with a five-round unanimous decision victory.

When Aldo went up against Chan Sung Jung, he deflected a punch and dislocated his shoulder.

He now faces Chad Mendes of Team Alphamale for his upcoming fight.

"Every one of those guys has fought Jose Also," White said. "Conor hasn't.  So who do you line up next for the champ other than Conor?"

While he is pushing the Irish fighter to challenge for the titel, McGregor has different plans.

In recent tweets in Twitter, McGregor is making it seem that he will be moving up a weight class to lightweight and fighting the ever-wild Diego Sanchez in Mexico on November. However, White declined any idea of the sort.

"The kid just wants to fight," White said, referring to a dinner him, McGregor, and Lorenzo Fertitta had.

McGregor told White that Sanchez and him had some back-and-forth banter, which is why he is so hot on challenging him.

"He spoke a big game. Now he will pay with his career," McGregor tweeted.

Even though White has already come out and denied that the fight will take place, Sanchez has also come forward and is similarly eager to face McGregor.
