"Grey's Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo and husband Chris Ivery just welcomed their second child, daughter Sienna born via surrogate. The couple also has an older daughter, five-year old Stella.

She uploaded a photo of her husband kissing their new baby on her WhoSay account, captioning it "Sienna May Ivery welcome to the world. We love you more than words can say.''

The 44-year old actress also took to Twitter to make the announcement and to thank her TV family for all their support and for keeping their baby's birth secret during the first few weeks of her life. " ''Sienna was born via surrogate & I would like to thank my whole @ShondalandTV family for helping us enjoy these first few weeks privately [love] U.(sic)'," she tweeted.

Pompeo recently admitted that when "Grey's Anatomy" ends, she doesn't have much of a desire to pursue other acting roles. After playing Meredith Grey almost a decade, the actress hinted that she may just quit showbusiness altogether when the show ends.

She admitted that for her, acting isn't exactly empowering. The actress confessed that now that she is in her forties, she doesn't exactly like working for other people anymore and feels the need to do something else.

However, even though she has confessed to feeling like she is currently experiencing a transition, the actress refused to definitely confirm whether or not she is quitting showbiz after "Grey's Anatomy".

When asked if "Grey's Anatomy" could possibly be her last stint in Hollywood, the actress shared, "''Oh, absolutely. I mean, never say never, I'm not going to come out and make one of those statements like, 'I'm retiring after...' and then in February come back. I try to keep an open heart, an open mind, an open soul and spirit to whatever comes my way and whatever is meant to be for me will be.''
