According to the 34-year old actress, she did not give herself much time to rest or do anything else in the past. Wu says she's always been so passionate about acting that whenever there was a break in her filming schedule, she couldn't get used to the temporary idle time.
She likewise expressed her intention to change her lifestyle, saying she has realized that people should learn how to live a satisfying life as they grow older.
"I really want to live my life, go out and enjoy more experiences," the actress said, adding that doing so will also help enhance her acting skills.
To start with, Wu says that she wants to live a simpler lifestyle.
Through the years, the actress has never been one to attract rumors, only becoming the subject of media buzz during her breakup with Hong Kong actor and restaurateur Bosco Wong, who was previously rumored to have cheated on her, which resulted their split in 2012.
According to Wu, the lack of rumor her career was not because she was preserving a clean image, but it was simply a result of the conservative lifestyle she lives.
The actress shares that in the past, she was too afraid to attract attention to herself. Whenever she goes out to public places, she always wears a cap and a mask, scared that people might recognize her and in turn, start rumors or spark talks about her private life.
