6 Dead in Stabbing Incident in Changsa Market

At least six people were confirmed dead in a stabbing incident that erupted among vendors of a wet market in Hunan province in central China on Friday, local police said.
The incident erupted between two vendors who were arguing, which then resulted in a stabbing spree among the other vendors. The incident took place in Changsa City, the capital of the province.

Reports from Chinese police said around 10 am local time, two vendors started arguing and a fight ensued.
As the fight intensified, one of the vendors involved in the altercation stabbed another vendor and upon fleeing, started stabbing four innocent bystanders in his path.
Chinese police were able to capture one suspect. Three others remain at large.
The fatalities include one female vendor, the perpetrator and another suspect whom the police gunned down.
The two injured bystanders later died in the hospital.
The Changsa incident erupted barely two weeks after a group of knife-wielding assailants stormed the Kunming train station killing 29 people and injuring 143 others.
