Amidst reports that the wedding cost $13 million, People magazine has released a statement saying the wedding had only cost about $1.6 million. The entertainment magazine scored exclusive photos and details for its latest issue.

The Hollywood actor who married Amal Almuddin, spent three days in Italy with friends and family to celebrate the nuptials. The wedding ceremony took place in the lavish Aman Canal Grande Resort and was attended by an army of Hollywood celebrities, including Cindy Crawford who arrived with her husband Rande Gerber, who served as the Best Man; John Krasinki and wife Emily Blunt; Matt Damon and his wife Lucia, as well as American Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour --- to name a few.

The couple did not skimp on details; the groom wore an Armany Tux and the bride walked down the aisle wearing a custom made Oscar de la Renta gown. They also exchanged Platinum wedding bands that they had personally selected. Party favors were said to have included iPods that were loaded with a playlist of the couple's favorite songs. 

Wedding guests then toasted the couple with alcohol that the groom himself provided since he owns Casamigos Tequila with his best man Rande Gerber. The duo flew in 100 cases of the said alcohol for the three day affair -- this move probably saved the groom a couple thousand dollars.

So, what did the guests gift the couple?

Nothing, they had asked guests not to bring any.
