World No. 1 Novak Djokovic crushed third seeded Tomas Berdych in straight sets to claim his fifth China Open crown in Beijing on Sunday.
The seven-time Grand Slam champion almost handed the 2011 winner Berdych a "double bagel" as the Serb shut out the 29-year-old Czech in the first set and was serving for the match in the second set at 5-0.

With all desperation, Berdych finally got into the scoreboard as he broke Djokovic and then held on to his serve.
Djokovic, 27, went back to business and served out for the match and claimed his third consecutive title in Beijing 6-0 6-2.
"It was incredible, especially against Tomas, who has a big game and is an experienced player," Djokovic said. "Everything I tried worked. To be proud of the performance is the least I can say."
This is Djokovic's fifth ATP title of the year and this tournament in Beijing has a special place in his heart for he has a huge following where fans wait everyday outside his hotel to shower him with presents.
"I always take an extra bag so I can carry those presents back to Europe with me," Djokovic said. "I don't experience this level of support and loyalty anywhere in the world. These fans literally spend the whole day here in Beijing just for me, just to support me and spend a few minutes a day with me."
There's literally no time to waste for the top seeded Serbian as he continues his domination over China at the Shanghai Rolex Masters where he is also a two-time defending champion.
Djokovic has the liberty of a vie at the first round and is set to battle it out in his opening match against Austrian Dominic Thiem who won his first round match against Lukas Rosol of the Czech Republic 6-4 7(7)-6(3).
