The San Francisco 49ers improve their record to 3-2, using a fake punt to beat the Kansas City Chiefs, 22-18.
Coming into the game, a lot of questions were raised regarding Jim Harbaugh's - head coach of the 49ers - relationship with his players. However, despite all the recent news, they delivered the win and take one step closer to the team's Super Bowl dream.

The game also saw the return of previous 49ers franchise quarterback, Alex Smith, to San Francisco.
Smith started out in devastating fashion, ending a 12 play drive with a two yard touchdown pass to Travis Kalce, the first points of the night.
Later in the first half, the Chiefs got a field goal and drew three as close to a three point deficit by the first half, 10-13.
They took the lead early in the third, with Smith delivering a 17 yard pass to De'Anthony Thomas, to put them up by four points.
However, the 49ers looked to spoil Smith's return to San Francisco.
In the fourth quarter, the 49ers set up a trick play with a fake punt. On fourth-and-1 from their 29 yard line, the snap went to Craig Dahl, who ran the ball for three yards right up the middle and securing the first down.
For most of the game, the 49ers leaned once again on Phil Dawson's field goals. Dawson delivered one in each quarter, and two in the final one.
The only touchdown Colin Kaepernick threw for the 49ers was a nine yard pass to Stevie Johnson in the dying seconds of the second quarter.
Despite only one touchdown, Kaepernick threw for 201 yardsm while Frank Gore contributed 107 yards to offset the absence of Vernon Davis.
This was the third loss of the Chiefs this season, right after they beat Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in devastating fashion.
