At least three people were killed and 11 others injured during a multi-vehicle crash in Oak Lawn, Illinois on Sunday evening, authorities reported.
According to Oak Lawn Mayor Sandra Bury, the accident happened at 95th Street and Cicero Avenue at around 4:30 p.m. when a vehicle travelling westbound crashed with cars waiting at an intersection.

Larry Deetjen, manager of Bury and Village, verified that three people were killed and more than 10 people were hurt in the accident.
Two women and a man were among those killed, the medical examiner said. But according to authorities, the identities of the three remain unknown.
The police said that eight victims sustained minor injuries, one was in a non-critical condition, while two victims were hospitalized and were in critical condition.
In a statement released by the local police, eleven cars were involved in the collision.
Ogla Little, who witness the incident, said, ""It was one of those things like out of a movie where you see it happening but there's nothing you can really do to stop it."
A part of the highway where the accident happened remained closed until Sunday night.
According to witnesses, the pick-up truck was moving erratically at about 80 to 100 miles per hour as it passed through the 95th Street headed in the direction of Cicero Avenue.
Deetjen said the driver of the pick-up truck was involved in an incident that happened outside the Oak Lawn area and that there may be witnesses in a Chicago and Evergreen park who can give details that will help in the investigation.
Police say it will take several hours before the portion of 95th Street will reopen, and new updates regarding the investigation will be shared on Monday at 9:30 a.m. at a press conference.
