A survey conducted by China's largest matchmaking website, jiayuan.com, showed that Shanghai men prefer plump women over skinny ones.
The survey, "Chinese Men's and Women's Attitude toward Love and Marriage", interviewed 18,019 respondents nationwide.
About 67 percent of the male respondents consider breasts, legs and buttocks as the sexiest parts of the female anatomy, in that order.

Of the Chinese men who were most attracted to breasts, Guandong men came out on top, followed by Shanghai men at 17.13 percent.
But the Shanghai men beat male respondents from other regions in their preference for plump women, at 20.92 percent of the nationwide total.
The survey also found that 88 percent of Chinese men prefer fair-skinned women while 50 percent of Chinese women prefer sun-tanned men.
Only eight percent of Chinese men are attracted to short-haired women, the survey showed, as a short hairstyle is viewed as indicative of a woman's independence.
Beyond the physical attributes, the top female qualities that Chinese men find sexy are a unique temperament, 71% and graceful behavior, 60%. Voluptuousness only placed third at 57%.
On the other hand, women consider eyes and muscles as the sexiest parts of men, and are highly attracted to those who work hard and help with housework, the survey showed.
"My husband is a common white-collar worker. He is not tall and not very handsome but awesome. Especially the time he is doing housework is the sexiest moment of him. Because of his concentration and seriousness, he looks very cute and sexy. I feel my happiness at that moment, " said one female interviewee from Xi An.
A consultant of the matchmaking website said the respondents viewed "sexy" in two ways: through inherent traits and physical attributes.
"Every man likes to look at sexy women but would not like to marry them. A man needs a fun woman, not an eye-catching rose to be his wife," Zhang Jiarui said.
