It looks like the Texas Rattlesnake will bite again very soon, as reports indicated that WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin is now in talk to come out of retirement and take on rising star Roman Reigns in the biggest stage of them all - Wrestlemania 31.

Austin is reportedly staging a comeback to fight what everybody thinks the next face of WWE in Reigns. According to Inquisitr, Stone Cold's possible return is stemmed from WWE's effort to build up Reigns' career as the next big thing in sports entertainment.

Stone Cold, on the other hand, is working closely with Vince McMahon's company and often teasing about his comeback in his weekly podcast on WWE Network Match of the Week.

"Austin picks his WWE Network Match of the Week on the podcast every week and he routinely talks shop about wrestling while teasing a potential comeback under the "right circumstances" but he hasn't confirmed anything," according to Inquisitr.

A return in the squared circle by the Rattle Snake could be an opportunity for him to rebrand his career as well, after it was tarnished by his Sheriff character during the Eric Bichoff's era at WWE Raw in the early 2000s.

Without a doubt, Austin is still one of the most charismatic superstars WWE has ever produced and his comeback will certainly perk up a fanbase that was swept by his death-defying and attitude-loaded antics during his heydays.

But before the colossal match to happen, Reigns has to make sure that he's 100 percent ready for war after he underwent surgery to repair a rupture hernia. The Shield star was previously set to fight Seth Rollins at Night of Champions but he suffered the injury a day before the PPV event.

WWE was targeting a Reigns vs. Brocks Lesnar showdown in the main event of Wrestlemania 31, before they hit a setback in the storyline.
