Shanghai's famous Lantern Festival continues till the end of the month, but this time in the water town of Fengjing in Jinshan District.
The 140 beautiful lanterns will literally light up Fengjing as it celebrates its 10th year anniversary as a tourist district.
The lanterns, traditionally on display at Yuyuan garden, now include elements unique to Fengjing town.

Shanghai spends 2 million yuan every year to build the lanterns for the Yuyuan Garden festival. Fengjing only needs to shell out a fraction of that amount to relocate, redesign, and do some partial repairs on the lanterns.
"Our cost is less than 10 percent of Yuyuan Garden lantern festival," said Ding Siyun, director of Fengjing scenic region. "This relocation is a win-win situation in terms of cost," he said.
The actual Fengjing lantern festival will run through March 31, but Ding said they will let the lanterns stay on until May, though unlit, so that more visitors can still see the lanterns' impressive designs.
The star of the show is the 10-meter high golden horse lantern, representing the current Year of the Horse. It weighs three tons and occupies 160 square meters of space.
There are also dragon lanterns, phoenix lanterns, and other Chinese mythological symbols.
A representative of the Yuyuan Garden lantern festival, however, expressed concern about the relocation of the lanterns to Fengjing, saying their designs were tailored to the unique architectural style of Yuyuan Garden.
