Everything from clues people missed about "Gossip Girl" Blake Lively's pregnancy to reasons why she and husband Ryan Reynolds would be the best parents ever hit the social media world Tuesday after the big reveal.

Reveal as in prominent baby bump photo spread on Lively's Preserve marketing and information site this weekend along with a message to fans alluding to the coming blessed event.

Fans speculated about what the child would look like with a British tabloid performing computer-generated morph photographs to get a "rough idea" of what the child would look like. FYI, if it's not TMI, a boy looked more like Lively with light eyebrows and blue eyes while a girl looked more like Reynolds with the addition of Lively's nose.

In a post that congratulated all the expecting mothers out there, Lively, 27, waxed eloquent about the women in our lives who are right there at that special moment at the creation of family. Then, she got to the point. Displaying photos of her and her ever-growing baby bump, Lively  said she and Reynolds, 37, were going to be parents -- together.

Lively and Reynolds met in 2011 while starring in "Green Lantern." She, and her better half, have been hinting at the blessed event for months if not years, ever since tying the knot in 2012.

Lively told Allure magazine Reynolds and her were looking toward having a big family. In 2013, Reynolds told Details the same thing, noting he and Lively each came from large families.

Speaking to Vogue Magazine in August, she said Reynolds was a leader and patriarch who was going to be a great dad. In the September Marie Clair issue, she declared if she could "spit out a litter of kids", she would.

And now, on her Preserve website, she gushed congratulations to all the expecting mothers out there, which now we know includes her. She went on, of course, with more stylings devoted to babyhood. Referring to celebrating family creation, she covered "their tummies," which need filling, presents to soothe their tired and swollen soles, toys to warm their hearts, so forth and so on.

Lively got more than a little lively with her family pregnancy announcement, which you can see here. She posted dozens of photos of herself and other pregnant women and the celebrations that presumably surround their blessed announcements pronouncements and pregnancies.
