Customers that purchase the mobile device will get the latest version of Android within a month of its release, Motorola said.
AT&T Senior Product Marketing Manager Karissa Norfleet said Moto G LTE is a "great choice for users" that want to upgrade their smartphone without downgrading their wallet.
Subscribers can spread out payments through AT&T Next Plan. For the Next 18, customers will pay US$7.50 per month for the next two years and US$9 a month with AT&T Next 12.
In addition, the device is also available for US$80 with a one-year contract, AT&T added.
Along with Moto G LTE, the company will also start selling AT&T Velocity, the carrier's latest mobile hotspot, on Friday. Its special features include 10 hours of battery life, dual-band Wi-Fi and with up to 10 device connections.
