Shanghai's Upside-down House Draws Curious Tourists

Your world has just turned upside down, you say? Sure, it happens!
You lose a great-paying gig, you lose a great-looking love, or anything along that category of 'upset' that completely overturns life as you know it.
You head to some exotic beach, or some enchanting city like Shanghai, to get off the dumps and you're almost back to tip-top mental shape. But wait...

Is that really an inverted house over there? Did Shanghai architects think they'd help fix your topsy-turvy world by giving you a house built upside down?
They sure did! Not really for you to live in, but just to take in. You know, reverse psychology in the most literal, physical sense.
The two-story house, currently being built in Shanghai's Fengting Ancient Town, sits on what is traditionally a slope-pitched roof while its rooftop is flat just like a normal house base.
The upside-down house, which appears as if it has been overturned by hurricane, will have three bedrooms and a sprawling front garden.
The interior design will follow the same upside-down theme: furnitures on the ceiling and lighting fixtures on the floor.
The house is meant as a tourist attraction that is scheduled to open to the public this April, but some locals have already been visiting the construction site to take 'selfies' with it on the background.
Oddities do attract attention anytime, anywhere.
