It has been rumored that Taiwanese singer Elva Hsiao began dating Singaporean heir Elroy Cheo, and though they have not admitted it directly, the couple is said to be having a stronger relationship than ever.

According to media reports, Hsiao and Cheo were spotted on a date in Hong Kong recently, and had been photographed kissing passionately while they were riding the escalator of a mall they've gone to.

The singer and her new beau, who is the brother-in-law of Taiwanese singer-actor Vanness Wu, were said to have been spotted on a dinner the same day. Hsiao and Cheo were said to have been holding hands on the table the whole time. Additionally, when their food arrived, Hsiao allegedly offered to feed Cheo.

After leaving the restaurant, the couple were said to have been glued to each other with the singer holding onto the Singaporean heir's arm the whole time. Without worrying about the paparazzi and curious fans seeing them, the two shared a kiss while riding the escalator.

According to sources, the 35-year old singer has captured the attention of Cheo with her sweet-girlfriend persona despite being four years older. Shortly after her controversial breakup with former boyfriend Kai Ko, Hsiao had been seen hanging out with Cheo.

On the other hand, the wealthy backgrounds of both Cheo and Hsiao became a constant discussion among media people.

Cheo is known to be the son of Cheo Tong Choon, the Chairman of Mewah International. The Cheos have an estimated family wealth of $3.3 billion HKD, being the 43^rd richest man in Singapore.

Although this is the case, Cheo doesn't want to rely on his father's wealth, managing his own urban development business which is based in Hangzhou, China.

Hsiao, on the one hand, also has a wealthy background being the most popular female singer in Taiwan. The singer is also said to have inherited $20 million HKD from her late mother, who was also the former chairman of a tech company.
