Meanwhile, Destiny servers went offline on Oct. 7 from 7:00 A.M. PDT due to a maintenance schedule which will focus on backend technology improvement, enabling gamers to connect to the Destiny world. The maintenance will also provide more stability for gamers that previously encountered connection problems.

The Oct. 7 Destiny patch notes include the addition of more data logging for matchmaking systems; improvement on logging of disconnections; improvement on connectivity failure handling to lessen beaver Kick to Orbit events (KTOs); roster system fixes; internal tool fixes and bug fixes.

Server fixes include security fixes, improvements on server performance, frequency reduction of KTOs, better logging and Centipede error fixes.

Bungie has continuously updated Destiny since its launch on Sept. 9 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

The 1.0.2 update is the most recent patch that made big changes to Engrams. This most recent update involves the Destiny web app companion that adds the Grimoire Update for easier card viewing and in-game bonuses.

Another major change can be found in the Help section which makes it easier for gamers to search for resolved issues or articles.
