Hong Kong star Raymond Lam is said to have purchased six designer bags for his girlfriend Karena Ng in one shopping trip they've gone to during their trip to Paris last August.

According to media reports, whenever Lam and Ng have time off work even just for a few days, they embark on luxurious vacations and shopping sprees together. Since Lam has left TVB a few months back, he is said to be enjoying more time off from filming schedules, thus having more time to spend with Ng.

The two stars were said to have left Hong Kong in August on a luxury trip to Paris, France just to go shopping.

Rumor has it that the 'Line Walker' star and former TVB actor is very generous to his girlfriend, often swiping his credit cards whenever she wants to purchase something. This time, it is said that Lam bought six designer bags for Ng in one shopping trip amounting to HK$600,000.

Insider reports say that while shopping, Ng has forgotten that she was in a foreign country and didn't seem to mind that there was a language barrier between her and sales assistants that attended to her.

The 20-year old actress is said to have requested different colored designer bags from the sales associate at the Paris shop she went to. While trying each other samples given to her, she is said to have asked the salesperson if the bags looked good on her in plain Cantonese.

A shopper, who was standing by the actress at that time, is said to have laughed at Ng's slip of tongue.

On the other hand, as Lam is also a fan of designer labels, he allegedly paid for all the items and the rest of Ng's shopping expenses in Paris which is said to have amounted to hundreds of thousands of Hong Kong dollars.

However, Ng's manager said that the actress had been working in China last August and it wasn't true that she went to Paris with Lam.

The 34-year old actor also did not mention anything about going to Paris, but he did say that he went to Tokyo with Ng.
