Hong Kong Canadian actor Edison Chen's bisexual father, Edward Chen, was recently spotted in Hong Kong last September 24 attending a family dinner with an unknown Caucasian male believed to be his new boyfriend.

The Canadian-born actor and singer's father, who is a businessman, had been often linked to young, handsome males in the past. Edward, Chen's father, was rumored to have dated actor Hu Bing and was also linked to Mr. Asia 2012 winner Ryan Zhu. Both rumors have not been cleared.

However, recently, Chen's father was spotted attending a family dinner with his former wife, Chen and his Chinese-Korean girlfriend, Ann Hong at The Peninsula in Tsim Sha Tsui.

According to reports, halfway through the gathering, Chen and Hong stepped out of the hotel to smoke. The couple were reported to have been in a heated argument while they were outside, but eventually returned to where they had been dining.

Later in the evening, Chen, who appeared agitated and upset, walked out of the hotel with his girlfriend and the rest of his family, including his father who was following suit with a young Caucasian male.

The unidentified male is said to have been standing casually beside Edward Chen while he said his goodbyes to his family. Hong is said to have been seen hugging Edward as well before she left the scene with her boyfriend.

Afterwards, Edward allegedly left the hotel with the young man, followed by Chen's two elder sister and mother.

In previous reports, Edward Chen is said to have divorced his wife without telling their son about it. The singer-actor, who is now based in Taiwan, has not been seeing his father very often after the divorce.

According to earlier reports, Edward's sexual orientation later became unclear to his family and the public since he had been spotted dining with male celebrities and other virile young men.

Despite this claims, neither Edison nor his father have stepped forward to clear the issue.
