The People's Liberation Army Daily, the state's media, announced Wednesday that the armed forces of China will be calling for a stronger cybersecurity and speed up the country's domestic development software to support the technological weakness of the country.
People's Liberation Army (PLA) Daily, a platform used by the state media to announce notices, wrote that the information security of China shall be the top priority as it will affect the preparedness of the arm forces in case a military battle shall commence.

China is growing even more concerned regarding the Internet usage and the cybersecurity as they are threatened about the domination of Western culture, power, and values to the Chinese community, adds PLA.
Both China and the U.S. continuously blame each other regarding cyber espionage. Tensions between Beijing and Washington have escalated ever since May this year.
Back in May, the grand jury of the United States accused five military officers of China claiming that they were hacking systems of several American companies whose main business is in relation to manufacturing secrets. China later denied the charges.
According to figures, Chinese technology companies are currently facing challenges as a huge drop in sales has been recorded. The Chinese are said to be more aware of cybersecurity as the U.S. government's role continue to grow regarding cyber spying.
The Chinese state media also noted that American technology firms are to blame regarding security concerns. The U.S. National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden revealed last year that the American government has launched their spying and surveillance in order to target the PLA.
PLA is controlled by the Communist Party of China (CPC) and is made up of the Army, the Navy, the Air Force, and the Second Artillery Force. The task of the groups is to conduct operations related to defense and social order.
In relation to this, President Xi Jinping, who is also the head of the military, said in a statement that he is already controlling another government group that is solely dedicated to the security of China's internet. The said group is said to be aiming for China to be a "cyber power".
